Professional expert care for your patients in your hospital or clinic
Typical Dental Examination and Treatment Visit:
Mobile Dental Vet provides South Florida with expert dental care and oral surgery. Our services provide the full spectrum of dental care from general dentistry to the most advanced dental restorations and oral surgeries. Not only do we practice the very best in veterinary dentistry, we strive to achieve a team approach to helping diagnose, maintain, and treat your patients' oral disease.
The initial examination and consultation with you and your pet will allow us to develop a preliminary treatment plan. In addition, it will allow Dr. Klarsfeld and your primary veterinarian to review your pet's medical history and diagnostic tests to ensure that your pet is safe for anesthesia. Oral examination on a conscious pet is not complete without acquiring and interpreting digital intraoral dental X-rays while the patient is under anesthesia. These oral digital x-rays are needed to identify oral disease and provide treatment options. To accommodate this need we prefer to schedule our procedures while the pet owner waits.
The client is then invited into your operatory to see their pet under anesthesia (if the client desires) and review the oral exam and dental radiographs. Based on this, a final oral healthcare plan will be customized to care for any diagnosed oral disease and we will perform all necessary therapy and surgery at that time. While dental care is performed clients usually leave the practice to have lunch, run errands or go back to work.
When the procedure is finished and the patient is in recovery we call your patient to schedule a pick up time, review the performed procedures, explain any medicine to be dispensed, and provide the pet owner with detailed instructions how to care for your pet while he/she recovers. We also will ask you to schedule a post procedure examination for the petient with you in one week to make sure any surgery sites are healing and to discuss dental maintenance home care.
At Mobile Dental Vet, we are passoinate about the care of our patients. Dr. Klarsfeld and the Mobile Dental Vet team is beside you from diagnosis through treatment and recovery to answer your questions and concerns. Dr. Klarsfeld always welcomes phone consultations from veterinarians and can be reached directly via phone or text at (954) 471-4202. Clinical pictures and radiographs can be sent via text or emailed to mobiledentalvet@gmail.com.
