Compassionate Friendly Expert Care

Typical Dental Examination and Treatment Visit:

Dr. Klarsfeld was called by your veterinarian as a consultant to provide dental care and oral surgery for your pet.  Dr. Klarsfeld focuses on your pets’ oral health to ensure its overall heath. Our services provide the full spectrum of dental care from general dentistry to the most advanced dental restorations and oral surgeries. Not only do we strive to practice the best in veterinary dentistry, we strive to achieve a superior client experience.

The initial examination and consultation with you and your pet will allow us to develop a preliminary treatment plan. In addition, it will allow Dr. Klarsfeld to review your pet's medical history and confirm with your primary veterinarian that your pet is safe for anesthesia. Oral examination on a conscious pet is not complete without acquiring and interpreting oral dental X-rays while your pet is under anesthesia.  These oral x-rays are needed to identify oral disease and provide treatment options. To accommodate this need we prefer to schedule our procedures while the pet owner waits but a phone conference is possible as well to accomodate pet owners with busy schedules.

You are then invited into the dental suite to see your pet under anesthesia (if you wish) and review the oral exam and dental radiographs. Based on this, a final oral healthcare plan will be customized to care for any diagnosed oral disease and we will perform all necessary therapy and surgery at that time. While dental care is performed pet owners usually leave the practice to have lunch, run errands or go back to work.

When the procedure is finished and your pet is in recovery we call you to set up a pick up time. During the pick up visit we review the performed procedures, explain and dispense any medicine, and provide you with detailed instructions how to care for your pet while he/she recovers.

At Mobile Dental Vet, we are passoinate about the care of our patients. Dr. Klarsfeld and the Mobile Dental Vet team is beside you from diagnosis through treatment and recovery to answer your questions and concerns. Dr. Klarsfeld even welcomes direct calls from pet owners if additional questions or concerns arise. He can be reached directly via phone or text at (954) 471-4202.  Dr. Jon can also be reached by email at: mobiledentalvet@gmail.com. Photographs can be recieved via text or email.
