"Braces" may sound silly for pets but are highly useful to allieviate painful bite problems:

 

Don't say "NO" to braces; instead, embrace them! Painful bite problems, like teeth traumatizing gum tissue or displacing another tooth, are painful but can be corrected by moving teeth to their normal positions. Many pet owners think that braces are only for straightening teeth for aesthetic purposes. This is not the case in veterinary medicine. Rather, the overall goal of performing orthodontic procedures in pets is to alleviate oral pain and infection caused by teeth in abnormal positions.
